Nancy graduated from Roanoke College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and received a Master of Education degree from the University of Memphis. Nancy joined Burleigh Consulting Group when the firm was established in 1981. Nancy is a member ASPPA and earned the society’s designation of Certified Pension Consultant in 1987.  She has over 35 years in the employee benefits field.

Nancy is a lifetime Girl Scout member, and a prior Council President for the Heart of the South Girl Scout Council. She is currently a member of the council’s Board of Directors and the Community Advisory Board.
